Combining her extensive professional experience in special education, Yuu believes that the teaching method has to be customised to every student. She aims to inject interest and to build the music foundation of any budding musicians and enthusiasts alike. From the age of 12, Yuu has been performing in numerous platforms around Singapore and Asia such as Malaysia and Hong Kong. Her experiences in music spans various sections: woodwinds, strings, brass and percussion. Her music repertoire ranges from the military band, symphonic/concert band, symphony orchestra, to Chinese orchestra. All these pursuits are a testament to her lifelong passion and versatility in music. On top of her love for music, Yuu is also guided by her strong passion for teaching. She believes in helping each and every child succeed in life, regardless of their start point. During Yuu's professional special education needs career, she was selected to attend National Institute of Education, and graduated with Diploma in Special Education in 2015. As an anchor teacher in the previous special school which she worked with, she taught various subjects ranging from knowledge-based subjects such as literacy, numeracy to life skills such as social emotional and daily living skills.
